Let's talk about energy

by Invenergy

The U.S. electric grid needs to be transformed. Our current transmission infrastructure is out of date and unable to keep up with increasing energy demand, which is rising for the first time in nearly two decades.1
Clean energy and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines are the solution. Increasing grid capacity with more HVDC transmission and adding gigawatts of energy from wind, solar and other renewable energy sources will create a more reliable, flexible and resilient grid. This transformation is critical for the grid to withstand disruptions from extreme weather events, which are occuring more frequently and with greater intensity than ever before, and to deliver clean, reliable and affordable power to the homes, businesses and communities that need it most.
Learn more about how revitalizing the electric grid can accelerate cleaner, more reliable, affordable energy in the video below.
